What a week for tabloids like the Daily Mail!
Angelina this and that and that and this, will she have her ovaries removed in due course, wedding to Brad imminent, formula 1 speed type of celebrity support tweets… I mean at some point I had to scroll down, until oblivion it seemed, to find my usual favorite daily-celebs like the “ever-shrinking” Abbey… Give her a break please, the girl is simply trying to make it into “The Posh and Becks” olymp, and as perfectly demonstrated by Posh, you gotta be skin and bones in order to even stand a chance. And it worked for Posh, didn’t it?
Having said all that, the above rant does not mean I don’t think Miss Jolie isn’t heroic, I just find it funny how the gossip columns seem to have very little else going on if they need to “butcher” this story like they did.
I mean don’t they have their hands full with Miley’s on-off engagement, Leanne Rimes’ yoyo effect and the Jessica Simpsons of this world? – I am ranting. I am stopping.

What else has happened this week?
Well my world was shaken pretty much to the core. Miss Olivia Palermo was seen wearing the same shorts-pretending-to-be-skirt as I own, and this isn’t the first event of catching her in my clothes… It all began last year with this innocent image… Well not so innocent for me as I own the same ensemble.
The issue I have is that there is no doubt in my mind that Olivia and me have nothing in common, style-wise. Have I ever mentioned her to you as one of my faves? No!
She is, although very beautiful, not very cool in my opinion, dresses like every other girl, pretty face, leather trousers, long shiny hair, never without a piece of fashion jewelry and of course rocking an IT bag. Me and Oliv = not twins.

Then I saw this image of these 60s sirens and remembered to show you this video tutorial about the feline flick by make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury. Not much of a make-up fan I am, but if I was, Charlotte would be my hero… very good and informative blog too!

And looking at some more ice cream, I hate to break it to you, but this was also the week where UK weather experts dared to say it: This summer might be a repeat of the wash-out summer we had last year!!!!! Arrrgghhh!!!

There is not much else to do then to throw yourself into a cinema and watch some Austrian Sex Tourist ladies being embarrassing ). At least they’re in the sun… Much more than we can say (be)

So what would you say if at Premier we dedicated a whole day to top newcomer of the season Mr Isaac Ekblad?… Isaac will take us directly in the hearth of his very British temporary life where he is meeting and shooting with the best of the industry! And to get us into the Isaac mood we thought we would do a blog post dedicated to the man himself. His runway appearance include Jil Sander, Dior, Lanvin, Y3, Rag&Bone, Xander Zhou, J.W Anderson, Kris Van Assche, Jean Paul Gaultier, Givenchy, Mugler and Hermes… To name a few. Be ready people, Isaac time has begun!!

Isaac will take control of our Instagram all day today.

Probably one of the best views of London and delicious selection of cocktails – what more could you ask for! Me Hotel also houses the STK Steakhouse and Cucina Asellina which we will definitely need to pay a visit to soon! Here are some snaps we took of the evenings fun;

1. Marrakech, Morocco

The playground for the rich and famous in the 60′s seems to be this years playground for the rich and famous also… Premier Special Bookings Mary Charteris and husband Robbie Furze are spending their time out there at the moment.

Places to go/visits-

• Majorelle Garden- These beautiful gardens were once owned by  Yves Saint Laurent in 1980. It’s a 12 acre garden designed by Jacques Majorelle. Yves Saint Laurent’s ashes were scattered in the garden when he passed away.
• Koutoubia Mosque- This is Marrakech’s most famous building and is definitely worth a visit. Non Muslims are not allowed into the Mosque but you can appreciate the beauty of the building from the outside.
• Marrakech Market Square- If you’re going to try the local cuisine definitely go to the market… Fresh moroccan food as well as entertainment including snake charmers!
• Villa Rosa- If you prefer a quieter or more romantic evening how about Villa Rosa… Villa Rosa is a restaurant that is a mix of North African and French cuisine.

2. Ibiza/Formentera, Balearic Islands

Ibiza the party capital of the world. Space on Sundays, Pacha, Amnesia… Ohhh the list could go on but how about after partying heading over to the island of Formentera that is known for it’s beautiful white beaches and clear blue seas.

Places to go/visit:

• The sunset strip- Cafe del Mar and Cafe Mambo are the bars to be seen in on the sunset strip… How about drinking a mojito while watching the sun go down.  
• Ibiza Old Town- Ibiza Old Town is Ibiza’s landmark and it’s so beautiful especially at night time.
• Formentera The Blue Bar- Another bar to watch the sunset at and it’s perfect while watching hippies do yoga.
• Aura- Aura is a restaurant in Ibiza set in beautiful gardens in the Ibiza countryside it’s perfect for meals with friends and family.

3. Big Major Cay, Bahamas.

Forget swimming with dolphins… Swimming with pigs sounds like so much fun. Enough said.

4. Venice, Italy

Venice is a perfect location for you and a loved one to visit this summer for a romantic weekend break!

Places to go/visits:

•  What’s the point of going to Venice if you don’t go on a gondola? No point! This is how you will see the city at it’s best beautiful.
• Saint Mark’s Basilica- Known as the Church of Gold this Catholic Cathedral is a perfect place to visit the exterior is as beautiful as the interior.
• Caffe Florian- Caffe Florian is Italy’s oldest cafe that opened in 1720 with beautiful interior and decor it’s a perfect for brunch.

5. Featherdown Farm (Glamping), UK

Featherdown Farm is an amazing weekend or week away this summer if you have a family. With lot’s of locations throughout the UK it’s perfect for everybody… Check out the video below and the website link for more information on where to go and what to do!

1) Love this white tank… Sporty shape perfect for the summer or with leather pants for in the winter.

2) Pretty pastel cable knit jumper… Easy to throw over a done up shirt or with some skinnys & flats

3) Block heel pumps (I’ve had my eye on these for a while)

4) A simple tank dress with sandals for the summer and a chunky belt or some strappy heels to dress it up.

5) Leather Skirt… Every girl needs one– Love it in this metallic silver – Cute with a chunky knit and brogues!

6) Perfect sky blue strappy vest for everyday

7) Summer shorts for a summers day!

8) You can never go wrong with a classic black bag… Especially the satchel! Everyone needs one!

9) Cute strappy lace bra to go under any plain tee to add that little extra something (I actually have this! )

10) Ear cuffs are in this season! Go get yours.

Punk was the keyword for this year’s Met Gala. Presumably you all would list this as your Oscars, am I right? For anyone remotely into the whole fashion thing it would be. Even though I am not against punk per se, admittedly I wasn’t much impressed by this years looks. More so my favourites, dare I say it, were a bit punk reluctant… My fave peeps were, as per usual you might say, but what can I do, they tend to get it right, tout les temps… Carine Roitfeld, Chloe Sevigny and Rooney Mara. Like I said, perhaps not very “punk” however nevertheless ever so fabulous. As a side note I would like to mention I am rather excited Chloe decided to put a turban on her hair, as that’s the one thing I personally would deny her a perfect 10 for looks on.

And then there were my not so favourite looks… On the forefront Sarah Jessica Parker, definitely never to be mixed up with “Carrie” as this would never happen to her. And Kim K’s image is obvo photo shopped but I found this online and thought it was rather funny and had to share with you

My Met Gala invite got lost in the mail I think, there I was, all ready and en route to New York in a grungy look which I thought was super close to being punks sister – next time!

One could think Anna Wintour saw Mariah’s new video and decided to not send her invitation this year. I love Mariah, she is the reason I speak English, no kidding. But this video is cringe. The woman is 43 years old, has twins and is one of the biggest selling artists of all time. Does she really need to be all that “sexual”, on that bike in tiny leather shorts, whispering sweet nothings in his ear, dancing in the tiniest dress and every so often showing her knickers even and ultimately getting the “wink” of approval of a guy who, in real life, prob would want her more if she wouldn’t have just so cheaply advertised herself? I’d say it’s a shame how she has come so far and yet still feels the need to do this.

Now to something exciting, the long anticipated collaboration between über cool photographer Hugh Holland and Sandro is now available for all and called Hugo Holland x Sandro. Straight to the point!

Another photographer I just discovered and love love love is German genius Silvio Knezevic, a chef turned still life photographer. See for yourself!

I wonder what he’d do with my table/garden situation… As you can see I have put some (styling) thought to it already…

Today is World Lupus Day and we thought we would raise awareness of this awful disease that affects 5 million people worldwide. Chris Owen while away in Italy with his wife Huggy met a very courageous young girl named Ida who was being transformed by the alkaline diet and lifestyle blood cleanse. Ida is a stylist and art director working in Amsterdam and is now winning her 10 year battle with lupus through the ph miracle … This is her story.

My name is Ida Kolader. I’m a young woman who looks healthy on the outside, but as I have experienced now myself, one should never judge a book by its cover.

I have Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, in short SLE or Lupus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease, which means that the immune system over actively attacks the body’s cells and tissue, resulting in inflammation and tissue damage. From inside I have constant severe joint and muscle aches and my nerve system in my legs has been down too.

My doctors say I’m a special case, but I do not take this for flattery. It’s been a lonely road to deal with the disease and try to make people understand. Now by telling my story and giving people a chance to see and feel what it’s like to live with Lupus, I hope to be able to help others like me for whom it has been a lonely journey in the fight against Lupus too.

My goal is to raise awareness and understanding of the disease not trough the traditional means. I am very honored and thankful that I was given the opportunity to tell my story through the powerful medium of film and would like to take you along into my life for a few minutes. These minutes deeply explore the influence Lupus has on my life and the experiences that shaped me into who I am today. I strongly believe that images are more powerful than only words and hope that this film will create a better understanding for all who suffer from Lupus, and those affected by Lupus.
