So turns out this will be THE weekend, our very first exposure to spring, spring will finally have sprung we are promised, and boy are we waiting with bbq tongs in hand to greet it thoroughly! As this has been such a rotten start to spring I could bet retailers are the one folk who might be joyous about this horrendous development… All stores seem to be packed not only with Spring/Summer clothing but with tons of people who cannot face the outside chill and seek comfort in a bit of warmth, sensually and visually. And so they purchase, and purchase and purchase some more.
One could suggest these people think if they channel spring it might magically appear (and who could blame them, in times of crisis people resort to the craziest ideas). Of course you could also compare it to shuffing tons of chocolate down your throat when disappointed or dumped by LOVE… Well whatever it is, I can only hope we won’t get dumped by spring!
To demonstrate just how crazy all the weather palaver is, I took these images last week in Austria. Even though lovely it is simply inappropriate and unacceptable! Amen.
