Tessa Kuragi, Fetish Model:
Born and raised in Jamaica, Tessa owes her exotic looks to her mixed British, Jamaican and Asian parentage. Moving to London in her teens and whilst undertaking and completing a degree in medicine, she simultaneously began to follow her interest in modeling and acting, concentrating on the avant garde and the darker side of desire.
These experiences would lead her to the Parisian & Japanese photography scenes – particularly those which tended towards surrealism and erotica. She has worked with a selection of respected photographers and publications, eventually catching the attention of Inez & Vinoodh and Nicola Formichetti who cast and shot her for the current SS14 Diesel campaign alongside Brooke Candy.

FENDI SS15: Spring is looking sexy, elegant & feminine over at Fendi. The models wore sexy leggy numbers, such as small fitted mini dresses, fringe skirts (fringe looks set to be a key theme for SS15) & leather two pieces. The key themes were: flowers, leather, feathers, denim, suede & psychedelic patterns.
Make-up was 60′s and heavy, with Bridgette Bardot winged eyeliner with purple & blue chalky eyeshadow heavily applied in a straight line in the crease of the eye socket. Hair was side parted & tied in a low bun or pony tail. The main color pallet seemed to be spring pastel colors such as blue, purple & green, with a few black numbers thrown in.
GUCCI SS15: Gucci in Milan= glamor. The classic Gucci glam came through in the gold bullion embroidery of the bandleader jackets and the multicolor Mongolian lamb on boleros and vests. You caught glimpses of the good girl in the sailor-style jeans, a denim blue jumpsuit with contrasting yellow stitching, or a short-sleeve space-dye sweater worn with a neat, A-line suede skirt. Hair and makeup was classy & understated, cheekbones were contoured, eyes were prepped with nude eyeshadow (from the new Gucci beauty range) and hair was tied into a tight low bun with a middle parting.
Although the collection had a very vintage vibe, the contemporary Gucci quality was still evident. The constant presence of military jackets, denim all in one dresses, fur & ribbon detail gave a very 90s in Paris vibe. A bottle green glove-leather shirt-dress inset with broderie anglaise was undeniably precious, but it retained an easy, offhand quality that made it desirable. Accessories were key, almost every look was topped off with a neck scarf, leather belt or a fur number.
