Last week marked my very first European Music Awards visit. Yes, live in the action as it happened. Record amount of fans tuned in and I must say, witnessing a show like this live is something else. The sets, acts and athmosphere were absolutely insane and had something for everyone, even me, a rather old fashioned, stuck in the 90s somehow when it comes to my taste and love for music. Well not only music, no need to go on about my love for 90′s fashion really… We saw Eminem with a spectacular set, rocking one of my favourite outfits of the night, THAT jacket, and Miley doing what she does best… Bringing a pinch of controversy to the table, where she appeared to be smoking a doobie… Kids these days, huh!!

Last Saturday morning I headed off to Lancing College in West Sussex to give my first careers talk about fashion to the year 11 and 12 students who were attending a conference to help them with their A level decision choices. The weather was glorious as I motored over the south downs but nothing had really prepared me for the breath taking drive up the hill to the college. Lancing College is a co-educational English independent school in the British public school tradition, founded in 1848 by Nathaniel Woodard. The chapel belonging to the college is the largest school chapel in the world and truly stunning.
