New this week. A term I guarantee any girl/woman between the age of 15-35 is very familiar with. Should you tick said age box but are not, then this will be because you a) live on the moon or b) are part of the top 1% who are simply too rich to actually care.
But the rest of us care. We care so much that each week we eagerly anticipate the moment when we happily will click ourselves away into the wonderful world of Zara’s “new this week”. One could compare the feeling to a 5 year old almost wetting his/her pants in anticipation what Santa Clause will have in store for him/her.
You see, in recent years us mere mortals who do not belong to the top 1%, have been graced with high-street smarties such as Zara, Topshop and whatnot. These giants have cleverly recognized that in fact the masses are not unfashionable, no, they.just.cant.afford.it – and effectively have made a ton of money, they are probably part of the top 1% club too).
Fast forward to today and here I am, racing through this blog post real fast just so I can run even faster to Zara and get what I deserve: Some damn good imitation of something I otherwise couldn’t afford. To be precise, what’s new this week!
