The traditional Scottish plaid has made a comeback for the Autumn Winter season!
We knew it would be dominating fashion this fall when it featured on the runways at the Autumn Winter shows earlier in the year. Moschino, Celine and Dolce & Gabanna were just a few of the many designers that included this well-known pattern within their collections. However, seeing as the majority of us won’t be splashing out every season on the new designer trend, here are some of our favourite (and more affordable) picks straight from the high street!
Portia Freeman recently took over our Instagram page throughout her stay in Paris, where she attended the launch of the new Fendi store, a preview of Karl Lagerfeld’s exhibition “The Glory of Water” and a celebratory dinner hosted by Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi.
“Bonjourrr everyone getting into the french vibe at Eurostar with a Croissant. #WeeeeeePareeeee”
It’s the social event of the season and provides the perfect opportunity to get our glad rags out each year. Last night stylist turned fashion designer L’Wren Scott hosted the Serpentine Summer party, which was attended by the international A list as well as our very own Portia Freeman (dressed in a lacy L’Wren Scott number- quite the femme fatale) , Tallulah Harlech (in a midnight blue silk satin pyjama suit by Erdem) and Harriet Verney (we loved her scarlet Louis Vuitton fur draped over her LBD, patent Vuitton shoes and matching hair).
Here are some pictures from the evening;
